2010 Primetime Emmy Award Nominees Jim Parsons and Ty Burrell will be lending their voices to the hit animated series Glenn Martin, DDS in a brand new episode airing on July 9th at 10:30pm on Nickelodeon. Series regular Catherine O’Hara was also nominated for a 2010 Primetime Emmy Award today.
In the new episode, titled “Jackie’s Get Witch Quick Scheme,” Parsons and Burrell are both featured in multiple roles including residents of Salem, Massachusetts and numerous Kenedys. In the episode, after learning about their parents’ ancestors, Courtney is bummed that there are no notable women on Jackie’s side until Jackie discovers one of her descendants was a Salem witch. In Salem, Jackie is treated like a celebrity until the townsfolk learn that her descendant was not what she appeared to be. Meanwhile, Conor and Glenn go sailing and run afoul of the Kennedy clan on Cape Cod.

Glenn Martin, DDS’ all-star lead voice cast includes Kevin Nealon (Weeds, Anger Management) as Glenn Martin, Catherine O’Hara (For Your Consideration, Chicken Little) as Jackie Martin and Judy Greer (27 Dresses, Arrested Development) as Wendy Park. The series, from Tornante Animation, airs regularly Fridays at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

Glenn Martin, DDS follows the offbeat adventures of beleaguered dentist, Glenn, and his family – earnest yet slightly cynical wife, Jackie; hormone-addled son, Conor; power suit-wearing daughter, Courtney (Jackie Clarke); her subservient assistant, Wendy (Judy Greer); and family dog, Canine – who trade in the suburbs for a life on the road. Yearning for a deeper connection with his family, Glenn has packed up the Martins in an RV, which doubles as his dentist office, to go cross-country. The second season will take them on new adventures, meeting colorful locals, to such places as the San Francisco Mint; Salem, Massachusetts; the Seattle fish market and the Big Apple. The Martins, who put the “fun” in dysfunctional, are a family who loves and can depend on one another, despite all the mayhem.
