VIDEO: BLEACH “No Ambition”

Whoever said pop was dead is a liar, and not a very good one at that. Pop has never died and still dominates our charts. So, we would like to introduce you, The Kaje reader to what we feel is the epitome of summer-time pop 2012. Meet the fabtastic Lloyd Dixon, who, backed by none other than Boy George, performs superfluously under the pseudonym BLEACH and delivers refreshing, uplifting perfect pop.

VIDEO: Kash “Long Way From Home”

Having grown up spending his time between Lahore and South London, it could be said that Kash is a truly transglobal act. However, here at The Kaje we would take it one step further. Kash is a rarity. An act who takes a mix of influences and fuses them together to create a genre breaking sound. Kash is much more than a transglobal act, he is a potential international superstar. We suggest you get on board the Kash train now!

VIDEO: Jesper Nohrstest “Take Our Hearts”

Despite his tender years, Jesper Nohrstedt is considered a seasoned pro in his native Denmark. Having finished as a runner-up on the Danish X Factor two years back (the winner was Thomas Ring Petersen), Nohrstedt attempted to represent his home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with this brewing pop ballad, but saw himself in a runner up position once again, this time losing out to Soluna Samay. However, with a devoted following, “Take Our Hearts” immediately charted at number 4 in the Danish charts and has set Nohrstedt on his way to conquering Europe anyway…

VIDEO: [STRANGERS] “Safe/Pain”

[STRANGERS] continue to impress. Having blown The Kaje  away at the turn of the year, they near-enough topped our tips for top 2012 list, and with their musical output continuing to wow, it is only a matter of time before the Northampton/London based trio hit the top spot in the charts. Their latest release “Safe/Pain” is a beyond epic synth journey that induces an immediate euphoric effect. Blinding/brilliant/bold.

VIDEO: Joel Sarakula “I Will Deliver”

London based Sydney muso Joel Sarakula really blew The Kaje into oblivion with his stunning single “Bohemian” last year, so we are truly gobsmacked by the seedy brilliance of his epic return with “I Will Deliver”. With the funk upped, Sarakula lands himself in the same league as The Kaje favourites The Bamboos and Fitz & The Tantrums. Accompanied by a suitably sordid video, Sarakula should be the anthem to your impending summer naughtiness…

VIDEO: Erika Spring “Hidden”

Au Revoir Simone’s Erika Spring made her first tentative steps towards solo stardom with last year’s “6 More Weeks”, and after a long wait, her dedicated fanbase can finally celebrate the release of her debut eponymous EP, which leads off with this dreamy, breathy number. Accompanied by a more than beautiful, quirky video, “Hidden” is a memorable kickstart and could well see Erika Spring making as many waves as a soloist as she has done with her acclaimed trio.

VIDEO: Fazer “Killer”

N Dubz have to date manage to emulate the success of the Spice Girls in terms of solo projects, with both Dappy and Tulisa debuting at number one. However, does that mean Fazer will unveil himself to be the Victoria equivalent-the last to release a single, and the only to miss the top spot? If “Kiler” is anything to go by, the celebrated producer has nothing to worry about. A radio friendly, American influenced dance number, “Killer” is an instant hit.
