There is always an element of beauty to be found in despair, a point which is explored beautifully by Matthew Lawes in his video for Thomas White’s rendition of Warren Zevon’s “Accidentally Like A Martyr”. A feast of life and death and everything in between, Lawes once again shows his mastery as a director (last demonstrated exquisitely for Fyfe Dangerfield’s “Faster Than The Setting Sun”). White doesn’t let the side down, with his heartfelt mournfully uplfiting rendition proving him a talent to get excited about.
