The Pomplamoose Covers…

So it appears that the Lady Gaga YouTube cover version has struck a chord with some of our readers.  From sending in links to other versions, to the recommendation of chain coverers.  Quirky Californian duo Pomplamoose fit the latter.  Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn decided to start making music together in the summer of 2008, naming their collaborative project Pomplamoose after French grapefruits!  Whilst using their MySpace to showcase their own breed of breezy folk pop, they have put YouTube to equal use with a wide array of unforgettable cover versions.  Here at The Kaje we took a few minutes out to countdown our Top 5…

5. Beyonce – Single Ladies

4. Michael Jackson – Beat It

3. Lady Gaga – Telephone

2. The Chordettes – Mr Sandman

1. Sound Of Music – My Favourite Things
