‘2B2’ is one of Lambchop’s magnificent musical moments on their triumphant return, new studio album ‘Mr.M’. Zack Spiger, who also single handedly shot the acclaimed video for last single ‘Gone Tomorrow’, took it upon himself to visualize this song as well.
For ‘2B2’, however, he captures intimate moments of their recent European tour, including the powerful & moving sold out show at London’s Barbican last month. We’re following Kurt Wagner and his cohorts through the calm moments before the shows, to the stage, up to the finale and the peaceful moments afterwards.
What could easily be dismissed as a mere “tour video” actually sheds light on the duality of this band. Though they are from Nasville, the European tours have helped shape the ever evolving machine that Lambchop is, making them seem just as much a European band as an American one. Fans of the band can attest to that, and this beautifully shot & edited film is evidence.
‘2B2’ is only the second video of Lambchop that features the band in an 11 album career, and also the second official video in two months following the release of Mr.M.
Lambchop will return to Europe in Autumn to play a selected run of shows.
