NEWS: The Skints Announced As Less Than Jake Support

The Skints have been announced as support to Less Than Jake on four dates in June. Josh from the band says “We’re super stoked to be playing with Less Than Jake! It’s a band we grew up listening to and going to see live in London, so to be doing a little run with them is a dream come true! They’re all great dudes. I ended up getting pretty wavey with them on their bus at Slam Dunk last year, so I’m sure there will be some definite party vibes on this one.” On top of these shows, The Skints are also performing at numerous festivals across the country including Anti-Flag’s Anti-Fest, London International Ska Fest, Standon Calling, Crash Doubt and Beautiful Days.

London-based reggae & dub upstarts The Skints will release their second album ‘Part & Parcel’ on 16th April, 2012. Produced by Prince Fatty, the album mixes Jamaican styles with pop hooks, grimey raps, filthy basslines and a punk rock work ethic to create a sound familiar to newcomers, yet unique below the surface. The album is a sun-drenched carnival of a record featuring a collection of tracks that will undoubtedly make you want to dance. With a perfect harmony achieved between male and female vocals and a plethora of instruments appearing on the album, The Skints have truly proved their musical prowess on ‘Part & Parcel.’
