WIN: Tickets to Battle of Britain 70th Anniversary Tour and the chance to meet Hayley Westenra.

Flying its way across the country this July and August, the Battle of Britain 70th anniversary tour in support of the RAF Benevolent Fund, will feature “forces songbird” Hayley Westenra and the Central Band, Regiment Band, and the College Band of the RAF performing a nostalgic evening of the most popular music from the war years. The evening will include songs and music such as “We’ll Meet Again”, “Dam Busters”, “Aces High” and “Nimrod”, and will be accompanied by inspirational speeches from the time, poems, and narration from a member of DameVera Lynn’s family, RAF Squadron Leader Tom Jones.

Speaking about the tour Hayley said

“It is a great honour and priviledge to be singing at the Battle of Britain concerts. To be involved in commemorating the sacrifice and courage of the men and women who fought to protect freedom is a wonderful opportunity. I am really looking forward to the concerts which will undoubtedly be very special occasions”
